Sand/Pine Green

Cropped outerwear paired with high-waisted trousers is a staple in the Kiko Kostadinov design lexicon. The harvest bomber from 00052018 is a prime example of this shape, with its cropped body, elasticated waist, and substantial collar. This season, the craft aesthetic came to the fore, with the introduction of the statement 00052018 crochet bead bags, handmade headdresses on the women's side, and the 4-way reversible knits that appeared to be patched together of individual abstract pieces. Of course, with Kostadinov's penchant for appropriating found functional objects, even the most mundane snap button becomes an illustration of craft in the Harvest Bomber, with the arced front pocket closed with a dense, craft-like array of chunky snap buttons (a detail repeated on the exposed fly of reversible triple dart trousers and on the asymmetrical closure of the chemical parka). The asymmetry introduced by the snap buttons is taken a step further by the pocketing and how they carve shapes out of the green Loro Piana storm system accent panels. The result is a visually complex piece of outerwear with a striking and challenging silhouette.

Cut entirely from Loro Piana (Sand Beige Rain System fabric, Pine Green Storm System fabric), and lined in viscose. A unique hand that is equal parts natural and synthetic, with an amazing texture with tons of depth.
